It's been a while! BUT STAR TREK!

Okay! I need help here guys - I know I have been slack lately but I'm going to get right into this blog again. To start off there is this awesome competition I am dying to win - I really want a gold Captains Shirt from Star Trek <3 Let's be honest here though - I wanted to marry Spock (Leonard Nemoy) since I was a kid, and the new movies have reawakened the Trekkie in me - they did a great job with the casting and Pine follows through Kirk's actions to the point where both he and Shatner sit the same way in the captains chair :3 Love.

Okay guys, live long and prosper! V

Illuminati Card Game Predictions - Tomorrow Spells Olympic Doom?

Alright guys! This one isn't zombie related, but here's a very current conspiracy!
Hopefully you can read it - but here is the gist: the Illuminati Card Games predict that at 2.55pm tomorrow, there will be some sort of catastophy at the olympics. It's already accurately predicted three events that occurred after they were made, is it possible that the games are coming to life? If you know any more on this, send me an email! I'll keep looking into it!

Two posts in one day - whatis the world coming to?? Don't make me answer that ;P
But here! Pleae if your reading this, check out my cute as friend Barry and her slave Holli ~ <3 http://barryisasook.blogspot.com.au/
  They're pretty damn adorable ;)
Also - when it comes to friends in a zompocalypse you gotta pick the right ones to work with - These two are on my team. Holli shall hold up Barry who will petrify zombies with her awesomeness. Just thought you should know.

Anyway, if you're reading, shoot me an idea for the next chapter, I'm thinking of writing about making your HQ, or vehicles and travelling :) Also if there is anything conspiracywise you want me to look into, I'm happy to do so, just let me know.

For a good zombie fix, check out the manga Highschool of the Dead : http://www.mangareader.net/170/high-school-of-the-dead.html

The way the zombies are drawn is pretty cool, and if I could pick a type of zombie to go up against it'd be these guys.

Grimm's Zompocalypse Survival Guide: Food

I am a terrible person, I'm so sorry for neglecting this blog! I really didn't think people were finding it that interesting, so I lost motivation and just stopped - *begs forgiveness*
Anyway, if any of you are still reading or checking up to see if I have updated, I love you and you are my favourites - I'll keep doing my best, so please give me feedback!
This chapter is a little dodgy, but I hope you enjoy it xox

Food:

Food is important. But, water takes precedence over food. The most common answer you’ll get if you ask anyone how long you can survive without food or water, is ‘3 minutes without air, three days without water, three weeks without food’. This isn’t too bad of an estimation. However, this all depends on a number of things. First is that you have to have the will to survive. People who are ready to give up won’t last as long as someone who wants to see the Zompocalypse through. You have to try to help them find something to hold onto – finding living relatives, friends, or even as a last resort revenge, otherwise they’ll just be a drain on your food/water supplies, weapons and ammunition.
If you’re looking for your HQ based on nearby food supplies, then the mall isn’t a good idea simply because you’ll be looking for canned foodstuffs, things that don’t need electricity or water to make or keep healthy.  In a supermarket, most of the food will go off in a couple of days once the electricity goes. This means milk, cheese, frozen foods and meats. You don’t want to set up your HQ in the same place that you find the food – this means other humans will probably try to break into your ‘secure’ area, therefore making your nice safe haven pretty unsafe.
You’ll wanna be prepared food-wise, and there are a lot of different options you can take to do this. One, is to go online – by checking out some novelty online stores you can find food like canned bacon that lasts for centuries. And if you wanna eat in style, this might just be the choice for you. There is nothing like sitting in your safe-house and peeling back the lid of a can of bacon (I mean, why give up bacon just because the world is ending?) and relaxing to the harmonious sounds of undead groans. I swear, there is nothing quite like that.
Another option is to get food that you can add water to (hot or cold). But this uses up your precious water supply and often isn’t particularly nutritious. In a world where the fittest luckiest survive, you need to keep up on iron and carbs, things that give you energy but won’t make you exhausted later (coffee/energy drinks). By all means keep a energy shot on you for if you need a quick blast, but don’t live off it. Now is also a good time to quit smoking, as badass as it might look while you’re dramatically walking through streets of the undead. Also, (lucky for you) keep chocolate and a flask of whiskey on you. Both will keep you warm if it gets really cold, and the whiskey can help disinfect injuries not the zombie induced types.

Just a quick edit on this last post - I said that alcohol will keep you warm in extremely cold weathers, (like chocolate) but on research - please don't do this!! It actually raises your blood to the surface of your skin and will kill you quicker if you are freezing to death :D Sorry!!

25th

Whoo! Happy holidays everyone!
I don't celebrate christmas or anything, we just take this day to laze around and relax *laughs* and so I hope that more of you find this blog to share the apocolype-y dodgygoodness around :)
But more importantly, I hope you all that read have a really good day surrounded by the people you want to be surrounded by, filled with good food, good conversation, and all that yummy jazz too ;P I wish you all much eyecandy for the following year! If the apocalypse theories are true, we only got that much time left, so I hope you enjoy your last christmas :D

On a following note, put some thought into your new years resolutions too! Make 'em good for the final year!
I'll post mine up when I get there okay? And I might even post up my bucket list if you want :D

And a special message to those who are feeling alone even on a day that is supposed to be spent with others; I'm sending you a virtual hug - you're not alone and you will find someone who youcan trust deeply enough to feel not alone, this year is the year for stepping forward and doing what you haven't been able to previously - and I wish you strength and courage to do so :D May your dreams be as blue and endless as the sky! And remember, no dream is useless, no dream is insignificant, no dream is unworthy. Know that there is one person out there thinking of you - even if it's only a random grim billygoat *laughs*.

The Mayan Calendar }355{

Okay people, hey there again :D
So I’m gonna start with where the 2012 end of the world thing all came from. This blog will not be written from a religious view at all, or from a sceptical, it’s-all-bullshit way either. I reckon it could actually happen (not to mention ridiculously fun and terrifying) and I’m kinda hoping it does too! I’ve got my countdown all up there and my bucket list on my wall and up to about 30 things to do so far already – it’s gunna be my new years resolution to get it all done in the 12 months I got left :D
Alright, basically it all started with the Mayan calendar stopping completely on a day calculated to be the 21/12/12. Now the Mayans were able to predict every solar and lunar eclipse to within seconds. EVERY. Solar and lunar eclipse.
From the sceptic’s view, they argue that the Mayans were a primitive civilisation, and the fact that they believed that human sacrifice powered the sun means that they couldn’t be right about the end of the calendar. However, they didn’t simply ‘run out of rocks to write on’ as many people tell me when I’ve asked for their opinions. 2012, on the Mayan calendar actually marks a b’ak’tun, which is the end of a time period. In Mayan literature there is mention of world ages, and it is said we are living in the fourth world – this particular book mention the death and age of the previous (third) world after  thirteen b’ak’tuns. So apparently the fourth world, which is us, will also end when it reaches the completion of thirteen b’ak’tuns, which is the Mayan date of 13.0.0.0.0, or our 21/12/12
Hmm, so there is an old inscription referencing the b’ak’tun 13 – it’s been translated but it was defaced so something’s couldn’t be.
tzuhtzjo:m uy-u:xlaju:n pik
chan ajaw u:x uni:w
uhto:m il[?]
ye'ni/ye:n bolon yokte'
ta chak joyaj

It will be completed the 13th b'ak'tun.
It is 4 Ajaw 3 K'ank'in
and it will happen a 'seeing'[?].
It is the display of B'olon-Yokte'
in a great "investiture".[29]

And so yeah, B’olon-Yokte’ is a god of war, conflict and the underworld and from what I gather, he is represented in an artwork involved in a sacrifice to end all years. I’ll keep researching and updating on what I already know, but I gotta run for now :D

Thanks all, let me know what you think about it too – if ya too shy for a comment, feel free to pm me, I don’t bite often!

The Countdown Begins!

I know it's been a while since my last post, but with (if predictions are correct) only 365 days left until the apocolypse, I thought I'd commemorate the occasion!
So yeah, I'll hopefully be updating this blog about a few different end-of-the-world theories and other things that catch y eye along the way :)
If this really marks the year until the end, then I guess this is the last christmas/new year people will have ay?
Well, to that end, I wish you all a merry christmas, and a happy new year - ay you spend it with people you actually give a damn about ay :D
I'm starting writing a list of things I want done before the 21/12/12 - and even if the world doesn't end, at least I'll have had a heck of a year xD

Grimm's Survival Guide: Clothes

Just a few short tips on apocalyptic fashion - 'cause I know it's what you all are gonna be thinking about when the world is spinning into a flaming mob of zombies:

A dramatic long cloak may look cool, but you may rethink that when you realise the large possibility of a zombie horde dragging you backwards into their grizzly waiting hands. Keep it tough and close. Leather is good. So is Kevlar. Unfortunately Kevlar’s a little harder to come across. So find some good leather or jeans. Sleeves can be either good or bad – claws can become hooked in them, but it might just be what stops you from getting slashed.
I don’t recommend wearing those stilettos you bought yourself for Christmas last year either. Wear some good sturdy, steel-cap boots like Dr Martins or some flexible running shoes. Remember the school kitchen rules. Knives dropped on soft shoes will slice your toes off.
Spent ages cultivating that gorgeous long hair? You should probably ruin all that hard work and cut it off straight away. Short hair means less to grab onto and rip off your scalp. Keep your hair out of your eyes, the zombies aren’t going to wait for you to fix your hair and get your fringe away enough to kill the zombie in front of you or fire your gun.
Long nails and earrings are bad. Both can easily be ripped out in a fight or a scramble for your life. One of the most important rules is to avoid pain. The pain from getting your nails ripped out will be nothing compared to having your intestines ripped out when you couldn’t hold the sword for the pain. So, avoid long nails. If you’re really fussy, when you get a couple of hour’s zombie free time, perhaps you could paint them.
Backpacks are better than shoulder bags. Keep it light and only full of useful stuff; ammunition, food and bandages.

I'll try to make more with the funny next week with the chapter 'Keeping your Head...quarters'

Grimms Apocalypse Guide: Weapons Part II

Now sheathing. Check out the Clothing chapter – belts are advised. This is because they also make good knife holders. I suggest finding and equipping as many weapons as you can without hindering movement or fighting. And when you’ve fully supplied everyone in your group {see Party Members and Groups) then stock everything you can fit into your vehicle. If you’ve already made your HQ, then see if you can bring everything there. And don’t ever forget ammunition. The big gun may be pretty, but it’s the bullets that do the damage. Now if you have made your HQ, and you’re pretty sure zombies can’t read {see zombie tests) then leave a note leading the way to your HQ. That is, if you’re looking for extra members. And, make the note easy to find. People in a hurry to save themselves won’t look on top of the windowsill or under the cushions of a couch. It’s time to grab out that handy can of spray paint and do some serious vandalism. The shop owners probably won’t mind. The only thing you have to think about is what kind of people you’re going to attract. So think it through – if you want to save people, then go out and look for survivors. The ones in the gun shop might only want to rob and kill you rather than stay and fight with you. Remember with a new world comes a new set of rules. People will think that because they can kill zombies, they can kill humans too  - I mean, they’re going to die anyway. You want to avoid these people. Also, avoid giving them weapons.
Now we’ve talked about the serious things people automatically categorise under weapons. But if you run down to your tool box or shed, there are a couple of things that can probably tide you over until you get some proper stabbity-rip-stab-stab stuff.
That nail gun is brilliant if its battery powered. But only for as long as you have a charged battery. Still, it’s better than nothing, only you don’t want to run out of battery or nails on the middle of a fight. Keep well supplied. That crow bar is also good –not to mention silent. Garden shears, long shafted axes and hammers, or even a plank of wood with some nails hammered into the end of it. This also works with cricket bats.

Okay people, enjoy your weekend -

Grimm's Apocalypse Guide - Weapons Part I

Weapons:
I hear all the time about the best weapons being chainsaws and machine guns. Both do very good damage and you could probably sever a lot of heads with a decent chainsaw. But what do you do if you run out of fuel? Or what if the chain gets stuck? I suppose you could start hitting the zombies with it, but I can’t imagine a smooth pull from a zombies flesh and tattered clothing. So let’s put the chainsaw to bed. Now let’s talk guns. Keeping a small hand pistol on you might be handy for tight scrapes, but if we’re talking about machine guns – you’ll go through ammunition very quickly. I would save the big guns for when you’ve set up your HQ. Keep on you a big gun and a small gun – use them very sparingly. The difficult thing about guns though is actually getting your hands on them – unless you live in America. The first thing anyone wil think of in a zombie apocalypse is ‘Gunshop’. Now I don’t know about you, but if you want to go up against tens of scared civilians fighting for the one gun, go right ahead. I’d rather wait ‘til Trigger Happy Jack has done his thing and left with the gun. Another thing about guns is that they make big noises. In a world where the undead are attracted to bright colours or loud noises, you might want to rethink letting all the zombies in the near vicinity know exactly where you are – am I right? So remember; use them only when absolutely necessary.
If you have the chance and skill, a school bow and arrow set or better, a crossbow might be good. They’re fairly quiet, and have good range. However the problem again is ammunition. You might want to find ‘Carpenter’.
So we move on to knives and swords. If this was what you were initially thinking, good on you. They are as silent as you want them to be. Most of them will probably pull out nicely. But what kind? If you’ve played video games you’ll be pretty familiar with the term dual wielding, and two handed swords. If you haven’t played video games and you don’t understand from just the words, you’re probably not going to survive the Zompocalypse out of sheer stupidity. You might want to band up with ‘Rocket Scientist’ or ‘Smart Arse’, but you’d probably only be zombie fodder.
Now you’ll have to find what suits you. ‘Trial and Error’{see Method Systems) is fine, but think about your body shape before plucking out that 20 kilogram double sword. If you are lean, (so fairly thin but strong) you might want to dual wield. Go for something light – a longer sword and a shorter one. If you are fairly broad shouldered and muscled, you can go ahead and try the bigger sword if you think you can handle it. The Japanese samurai had the right idea with their katana – these are also a good idea. So did the Shaolin monks. But remember; if you’re going to have something sharp –keep it sharp and not rusty. Make sure to pick up a sharpener and to keep your weapon clean – it’s your new, best friend, and it sure as hell won’t leave you alone with fifteen zombies.

To be continued next Thursday xD
Oh and really sorry for the late post - Got carried away with CampNaNoWriMo aheh... :P
See ya next week,

Grimms Survival Guide: Zombie Testing Methods and Systems

Zombie Tests and Method Systems:
Now a zombie apocalypse is a situation none of us have ever been in before, so there is bound to be some kinks in the plan. It’s best to work them out before they are your last chance at surviving. You might want to first work out what weapon will suit you.

Trial and Error - This is a good idea only when you have one or two zombies near you. Try the weapon out on them and if it works then keep it. If it’s too hard to keep using, find something easier. And if it doesn’t work at all, well good show - you’ll probably be dead in the next couple of minutes. Building barricades and blocking windows is handy to keep track of. Keep note of what did work and what didn’t, then try not to use the stuff that didn’t work. That brings us to the next method:
Good Judgment - Think about things before you do stuff. By this I don’t mean sit down, get comfortable and perfect your Thinker pose. I mean, find somewhere relatively safe, take a deep breath and decide what’s best for your survival. ‘Where should I go?’ and ‘What should I do?’ are both good questions to have worked out before you go out looking around.

Some other very important things to work out can be done by following these tests.
You want to find out more about the zombies. Can they read? What are they attracted to? Sound, heat, vision, movement?
If they see you and then chase you, then they probably can use their vision to find you. If not, all the better.
If they can’t, find something small and throw it away from you, if they all swarm to the small object – they probably hunt by sound. So be quiet. Guns will only attract more of them, so use blades.
You might want to know if the zombies are blind – scrawl a note saying ‘tasty humans in the river’ and see if they head toward the river. If they try to eat the paper, they probably can’t read. Or they only know the word ‘tasty’.

Thanks again,

Awkward...

I've recently been watching my elder brother play through Zelda: Ocarina of Time once again. This time we're using a walkthrough 'cause I'm addicted to playing games like that >.>

But I recently discovered something a little awkward.
I'm not terrified by zombies anymore right? I have a healthy fear, but I love zombie movies, zombie parades and of course the idea of a zombie apocalypse. I'm not scared by zombies in games or in movies.

This doesn't scare me:
But playing through Zelda we got to the Redeads. And I was terrified! These things still scare me - I remember being ten and being terrified to the point where I'd cover my eyes and block my ears until my bro would tell me it was over.
At seventeen. Seven years later I had to sit through my brother laughing at me, cause I did the same thing!
They aren't particularly scary on their own. There's no blood, no exposed ribs, no guts or burst eyeballs. I dunno if its the way they come at you and jump on you or the noises and screams they make, but I am still terrified of them.

Also, I really don't like swimming in games. I refuse to swim in large bodies of open water. I would never swim when a Zompocalypse has happened (think Zombie Jaws, or Zombie killer whales -.-')
But I hate it in games, ANYTHING could come at you!!!

Anyway, just thought I should share that peculiar fact I just found out about myself.
Let me know if you have any weird phobias or something that scares you that shouldn't, or even something that wigs you out in games xD

Grimm's Apocalypse Guide: Names

Having a name means you have a past. It means that before the Zompocalypse you had family and friends. The likelihood is that you’re probably not going to have as many as you did before the Zompocalypse if not none at all. This is sad. But if you survive, you can mourn all you want later.  Seriously – think up a name that you can be easily recognised by. If you wear glasses be creative, you have three names right there – Frames, Four-eyes or the less creative Glasses. If you’re buff, be Buff. Get the picture? Even if it doesn’t have anything to do with your looks, choose something easy to remember. That’s why I’m Grimm. Any don’t think of any stupid dramatic names like Fast Shot Undead Slayrrr. How’s that going to look on your memorial stone? Maniacal names are allowed if you really are crazy – Trigger-happy Jack might end up your best friend, but even so, try to avoid actual known names. Even if you name your self after where you used to live or where you were born. Or if you want to be helpful, how about naming yourself after your good zombie slaying characteristics? I would befriend ‘Slasher’, ‘Tactics’ and ‘Medic’ any day. And probably keep them with me afterwards. However, ‘Gucci’ and ‘Good Conversation’ might have to wait.

This one is starting Camp NaNoWriMo tonight at midnight! it shall be an epic tale of sleepless nights a bunch of coffee and candy - 50000 words in one month wish me luck, or better yet - join me! Search for NANOWRIMO - and make an account, you can find me just look for Devil and friend me!
See ya, and thanks for reading >3

A Date With Survival; Grimms Zombie Apolcalypse Survival Guide

Welcome to the very first post of my survival guide. Before you begin; this is just my opinion, so don't take offense. This is what I'll be doing in a zombie apocalypse.

I'm gonna treat you all because you've had patience with me and I'll give you two sections!

SURVIVAL

Get organised before the apocalypse – There’s no use running around not knowing what you’re going to do or where you’re going to go. That’s what everyone did before they were caught and became walking chew toys. The moment you are confused and don’t think about what your next move is – that’s when you’re pretty much dead. Or undead.
But if you’re reading this, then you probably are thinking about surviving anyway – not running around like a rage zombie with its head cut off… well you know what I mean.
So first things first you will need some sort of bag that you can take with you. I've just gone and bought one of my very own - big enough that it can hold everything I need, but can be tied tight to my body. It is water proof and tough. I'll post a section on what you should have in it next - with a picture of it because I am very proud of it xD

FEAR

Okay, here’s the thing. Most people you talk to about a zombie apocalypse either thinks you’re crazy, or are super confident they’ll survive, saying that they’re not afraid. I’m sorry, but if I had a groaning mass of blood and torn intestines, broken bones and a semi-detached face stumbling towards me – I’d be pretty scared. And that’s a good thing. Fear is like chocolate. Good in small amounts (remember people, if you’re overweight you’ll be among the first to go… sorry). If you’re slightly afraid, you’ll be on your toes. You’ll hear that slight scraping noise coming from the darkness behind you. Someone who is laughing loudly at the zombie they’ve just killed probably won’t. And there goes their collarbone. You see what I mean?

Thanks,
  Billy Goat Grimm

Eden Eternal Closed Beta Testing

I began playing Eden Eternal earlier this week, and actually really enjoyed the game! I didn't manage to reach level 40, but did get to 31 as a cleric  - I also found this article which really explains how I feel about being one so hopefully you will read it lol.

I'm really looking forward to Open Beta Testing - This time I'll get to the class I want (shaman) and try really hard XD

I was impressed by the community and found that a lot of people were willing to help out and would appreciate the help given XD
Anyway the game is really fun, so if you want to have a go, head to the Aeria Games website, make and account and join and play for free :P

The Zombie guide is coming soon I swear  - just got caught up in playing the game :D Anyway - I'll probably put some reviews up - of this and other games - and hopefully you can enjoy them.  I'll do some a little like the review above, so keep an eye out.

Thanks again for reading XD
Have a good weekend,

Sigh...

Gotta hate those awkward e-mails where friends tell you about their immensely serious problems, and you have no clue what to say to them. How do you know if they actually mean it? Are they exaggerating? Does that make me a bad person if I'm critical of what people tell me?

I also hate teachers who have a favourite and a least favourite and, as the least favourite - everything, absolutely everything is MY fault. Except when the favourite is looking our way and then all of a sudden 'it's for my own good that the class knows how I'm going in that class'! Bloody hell - it's called keep a standard!

OKAY anyway, starting next post I'll update with my zombie guide. I'm going to colour code my posts so if you are just interested in the Zombie stuff, that'll be in orange. The stuff about my average life will be in blue - so you can skip my rants if you want - or join in and rant with me :P it'll be fun. I call it rant-fest.

Eden Eternal Closed Beta

My first time playing on a closed beta test! So exciting ^^

Except, I play a few other games as well, and it sucks that at certain times I get horrible lag. It's alright early morning to about 3pm, but after that it just.... droops.

RELATING TO ZOMBIE:

I'm in the midst of writing a Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide, from my point fo view anyway. As I finnish each chapter or section, I'll put it up here for you to enjoy soon enough.

Also, I think I'm going to try put up a couple of my comics, and hopefully continue writing them - I'm just slow.

A recent conspiracy - Osama bin Laden. I really don't think he died when the news published it. Isn't it a little suspicious the timing in which they came out saying that he died? America was growing restless with Obama, and  the Australian public increasingly calls for their troops to return. However the death of Bin Laden brought more support for the military. I think either Osama has been dead for a while, or that he made a deal with the government. I think it is foolish to blindly believe that they are telling us he is dead, when , frankly NO-ONE outside the government, or government control saw the body and everyone who was close to him died at the same time. It seems too neat. Only the army saw the body and he wasn't even buried where people could see the evidence of his death, no - he was tossed out to sea where only the military saw it. Isn't it a little suspicious?
I am in no way supporting Osama Bin Laden, but I don't believe what the government is telling us.

On my life: I'm looking forward to the weekend. Planning a lunch with friends and actually looking forward to going to work!

On music and films: Whoo, so many good movies are coming out, but I never actually go to see any of them!! So lazy! And music, I'm really loving Kiryu at the moment so here is a link. Ruru - Kiryu

To suit the moment....

I've decided to have two tabs opened in my browser at all times to suit the moments of discovery when I find suitable topics to put up here. This includes the averageness that is my life, which is most likely caused by government interventions to creativity and discovery and the dull durability of boring constants such as school where we are taught the same things as the people who were there a year ago to the kids who sat there ten years ago, still bored to their teeth as we are today. I vow to find ways that challenge the grey norm, and bring a little bit of colour, fun and new into the day or week, or the spontaneous moment of my updates.
So, here I present (not inventions of my own):
and
Just to add a little spice to whatever it is that I find.

Please remember that I am a proctrastinator, busy not doing extremely overdue homework, and so my sporadic updates will be put down to spontaneity.

Cheers >XD

BiLLy Goat GriMM

And so starts my blog of BiLLY Goat GriMM. Why? I'm not really sure but I think it has something to do with escaping the boring dull life of the everyday and adventuring into the unknown or not often spoken about. It's about zombies, the end of the world, video games and alternate realities that secretly, we wish were real.
It's about thinking outside the box and not being a mindless clone living in an age where your thoughts are almost written by tabloids, newspapers, reality TV and the government.
It's about real music that isn't Lady Gaga or another cardboard cutout droning into a microphone.
Its going to be about random stuff; funny, serious, weird and wacky, interesting, average, not average.

Mainly its about zombies.

I want to know what YOU think about what I think. Not just what we are told by people who've decided they know better. It's about having a collective group of similar thoughts, on stuff that is completely different from the norm.

... And also, it'll be about zombies.

But I think it's also going to be about the everyday, average life of people who are drowned in subliminal messages and yet, still have the strength to think for themselves.

And yet, I keep coming back to zombies ^^'

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it, and post away XD
